So if the person you wish to locate does not agree to share his current position with our service, we will unfortunately not be able to communicate his location to you.

1.3 Does this geolocation service work with all mobiles ?

Our service allows you to locate a mobile whatever the brand and operator.

1.4 What is the geographical coverage of our service ?

Our service is functional worldwide as long as the mobile you wish to locate has a minimum network in order to be able to transmit a signal.

1.5 Is the geolocation request anonymous ?

By default, all geolocation requests are 100% anonymous. Your email is confidential, you are only asked to mention it in order to create your account, it will never be communicated. However, in order to put a maximum of chance on your side, when you launch a geolocation request we strongly advise you to specify your "last name" and your "first name" in the fields provided for this purpose. This will significantly increase your chances of receiving a positive feedback.

1.6 What happens when you launch a geolocation ?

When a geolocation request is launched, the number to be located receives a series of several SMS messages spaced in time, inviting it to share its position with our service. In accordance with CNIL regulations, before sharing a position, our geolocation system requires the prior authorization of the owner of the phone to be located. If the person agrees to share his position, you will receive an SMS on your mobile with a link allowing you to access a map showing you the exact location of the person at the time he agreed to share. Note that if you have not specified your identity, the SMS will be 100% anonymous. However, in order to put a maximum of chance on your side, when you launch a request for geolocation we strongly advise you to specify your "name" and your "first name" in the fields provided for this purpose.

1.7 I did not get any answer from our service, what should I do ?

In accordance with the Privacy Shield regulations, before sharing a position, our geolocation system requires the prior authorization of the owner of the phone to be located. So if the person you wish to locate does not agree to share his current position with our service, we will unfortunately not be able to communicate his location to you. In this case, if you still have not received a return on the location of the phone you are looking for after 4 hours, we advise you to redo a geolocation request by specifying your identity. This will potentially increase your chances of receiving a positive return on your request.

1.8 Can you geolocate a lost, stolen or switched off cell phone?

If you are looking to locate a lost phone, consult the "New location request" section on your customer area, then choose the option "Find the location of a lost or stolen phone". You will then have access to tutorials and tips to help you take the necessary steps to have the best possible chance of finding your phone. These tutorials are only available for mobiles running Android or iOS. Warning, a phone that is turned off is a phone that has no network. However, our tutorial will potentially allow you to know the last raised position of your phone before it shuts down.

1.9 How long does a location take?

You receive the location immediately after the person has clicked on the SMS to accept your location request.

2.1 Why are you receiving this sms ?

You have received an SMS from Geomobile.info? This means that someone has used our site to launch a geolocation request on your mobile. However, in accordance with the Privacy Shield regulations, before sharing your position, our geolocation system requires your prior authorization. For this, we will send you a limited series of 10 SMS to invite you to share your position with our service.

2.2 How to accept to be geolocated?

You just have to click on the link received by SMS in order to accept to share your position. We will then just communicate your position at the moment you click on the SMS, no tracking of your mobile in real time will be accessible to anyone, including our service

2.3 How to refuse to be geolocated?

Simply do not click on the link received in the SMS, so your position will not be shared.

2.4 What are the prerequisites to be geolocatable ?

In order to be tracked, you must click on the link received by SMS, then have a minimum of network in order to be able to send a signal and thus communicate your position.
